Mom’s Day Out @DTLA

Sometimes you just need a fun mom's day out! Lara @larascottmedia and I took a break and headed to Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) for the afternoon - child free 😁

📍Pitchoun!: French family owned bakery; they're using French traditional recipes - oh la la - we dropped in for some coffee and amazing pastries

📍Millennium Biltmore Hotel: a legendary Los Angeles landmark built in 1923. The hotel is stunning - with Spanish Italian Renaissance architecture and exquisite painted ceilings you feel like you're in a European castle. The hotel held the original Oscar awards in the 30's & 40's and was also known as having the largest pool in the world. The 2nd floor is closed off, due to ghosts who roam the floor - spooky

📍The Last Bookstore: is the largest new & used bookstore in California. Be prepared to spend some time here. There's a record store, art studios, old bank building vault, several funky hallways to wander. If you enjoy reading, or just like checking out something different this is one to put on the list.

📍Sneak peek: Where did we end up?! Is it the stairway to heaven?

I'm loving the DTLA vibe, so many unique hidden gems with places buzzing again. Wait to see what other fun places we explored on our mom's day out later this week!

Plan A Day Out gives DTLA our seal of approval 👑
